Dear Friends,

I’m delighted to inform you that, thanks to a generous agreement with the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and the Palazzo Strozzi Foundation, members of Amici degli Uffizi may visit the exhibition “Bronzino. Artist and Poet at the court of the Medici” with a reduction of 50% (equivalent of € 5,00) on the entrance fee, upon presenting the Associate membership card.

It goes without saying that the exhibition, showing at Palazzo Strozzi from September 24th 2010 to January 23rd 2011, is of extraordinary prestige and interest, as it is the first time a monographic exhibition has been dedicated to the great Master, also exhibiting works of large dimension, which generate frequent difficulties during the transportation from one museum to another. Thus, it is an occasion that will probably be unrepeatable.

I also wish to remind you that - as you may have already read in our newsletter Giornale degli Uffizi – we have organized two visits to the exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi for “Amici” members, accompanied by Antonio Natali and Carlo Falciani, on the dates of Monday 15th and Thursday 18th November.
