Guardians of Art
Founded in 1993, the Amici degli Uffizi Onlus Association is a private, independent, non-profit institution. It was established to support the museum after a serious attack, with the aim of contributing to its revival and preservation. Since its inception, the association has stood out for its commitment to enhancing the artistic heritage of the Uffizi through support and cultural promotion activities.
The association’s mission is to allocate the funds raised to the enhancement and preservation of the museum’s collections, to supporting cultural and exhibition activities, and to improving the reception of members and visitors. Through its dedicated programs and services, it makes a significant contribution to the protection of a unique artistic heritage, ensuring its accessibility and safeguarding for future generations.
